YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit Events
Family events at the Y allow families a time and a place to come together to have a good time; participate in a variety of fun activities; share, communicate and strengthen their relationships; and meet other families. They are usually scheduled for a weekend evening and can be either structured or free-flowing.

Events for Families
Halloween at the Y
Join us for face-painting, healthy treats, bounce-house, haunted locker rooms, games, crafts and more. There’s something for your whole family to enjoy. Make sure you bring your children dressed up in their favorite costume. Halloween at the Y is safe fun for everyone, and is free and open to our community.
Healthy Kids Day
We invite you to make a “play date” at the YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day™. As the leading nonprofit for strengthening the foundations of community, the Y holds Healthy Kids Day to bring families together to engage in fun, active play and learn healthier habits that help them grow and thrive. Activities are free and open to all.
Family Night Out at the Y
Family Night Out is an opportunity for YMCA Members, community participants and non members to enjoy an evening with their family and friends. Each night out will have a different and exciting theme full of activities. Pre-registration is required.
