Child Watch – Workout Child Care

Our Ys offer free drop-in child care while caregivers make use of the Y. Playful, engaging options are plentiful for young children while you exercise or connect with others over shared interests.

Workout Child Care — Child Watch (for kids ages 2 months—5 years)

During Child Watch, children play under the supervision of caring, trained staff. At the same time, their parents are able to relax, connect with other members and enjoy healthy activities at the Y. As programs at the Y vary throughout the year, our Child Watch schedule is updated seasonally. Please visit the Member Services desk or Child Watch at your local Y for the current schedule.

Child Watch Hours

Child watch hours vary by location. Please find your local Y for details.

Workout Child Care — Kids Club (for kids ages 6—12 years)

Kids Club is an extension of Child Watch, offering gym time and swimming for children while you enjoy the Y. You will often see Kids Club participants playing on scooters or splashing in the pool.

Kids are very active during Kids Club. Please note that Child Watch Staff are with children in the pool/gym at all times during Kids Club. When weather permits, Kids Club is often held outside to allow kids to get outdoors and explore. Tennis shoes are required to ensure the safety of participants.

About Child Watch and Kids Club

Sick Children — Please Note:

We ask all parents to be mindful of bringing sick children to the Y. For the safety of all children in our care, the Child Watch and Kids Club teams have the right to ask you not to leave your child if they are obviously sick.
