On Thursday, Jan. 15, Quicken Loans donated $5,670 to the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit. The LIFE region of Quicken Loans, which consists of 103 mortgage bankers based out of downtown Detroit, entered a company-wide competition to reach a certain goal, and as a result of the team’s hard work, donated to a charity of their choice. The impact will be significant; $5,670 can fund 12 Girls on the Run teams or pay for a math teacher over the course of a summer. Initiatives are in line with the LIFE region’s causes, which are financial education and fitness.
