Y Arts, the arts and humanities branch of the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit, is hosting the Rockin’ Art Bash on Nov. 26. The benefit will include a screening of “Louder Than Love — The Grande Ballroom Story,” an Emmy-winning documentary produced by Detroit native Tony D’Annunzio. The film focuses on the 1960s Detroit rock scene and how bands such as MC5, Iggy & The Stooges and Ted Nugent & The Amboy Dukes got started.
