The Health and Safety of Members and Staff is Priority

Our YMCA Core Values are Caring, Honesty, Inclusion, Respect and Responsibility.  We are helping to realize these ideals by providing space and services that are clean, welcoming and fun. We continue to practice CDC safety protocols including:

  1. Social distancing  – maintaining 6ft or more in our facilities, this includes the wellness centers, gyms, pools,  and group exercise classes.
  2. Wearing PPE – everyone, staff and members must wear a facial covering. Proper facial covering means covering your nose and mouth. Mask wearing protects you and others around you. Honestly, wearing a mask as we live through an international pandemic is a true demonstration that we all are caring, respectful and responsible. Thank you for adhering to this policy. Our aim is to keep the doors open to serve you. Preventing outbreaks will help us do just that.

Remember, all memberships are association-wide and good to use at all YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit locations. Please also note guidelines are subject to change as we monitor best healthy and safety practices, along with federal, state and local regulations. We will update you as changes occur.
