Tis the season for giving!
The YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit’s Adopt-a-Family campaign provides Christmas gifts for youth and families in need of some assistance around the holiday season. This year, a grocery bag giveaway will also be provided to each family.
This year, the Metro Youth YMCA is happy to continue to oversee the Annual Association-wide effort for 2023, centralizing our collective efforts to support families across Metropolitan Detroit.
Our goal: to support Families across Metropolitan Detroit
The average cost for adopting a family of 4 is $500, gift support for a single family member is $125. Any level of donation is greatly appreciated and will contribute to our collective efforts to support youth and families. Individual donors or sponsors can decide if you want to adopt a whole family or if you would like to contribute a certain amount towards adopting a family.
The total amount raised will go directly towards adopting families in need. Funding towards Adopt-a-Family will be spread out across all YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit Branches in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb county communities.

The deadline to receive electronic donations will be on Friday, December 8, 2023. Shopping for families will take place from December 11-15th.
