Jack Huffman, known for his awesome mohawk, has been a member of South Oakland Family YMCA while in high school and returned back in February 2017. Jack chose South Oakland YMCA because Royal Oak is his hometown. His favorite thing about the Y is the sense of community, he says that everyone here is great and he always have fun when he comes to the Y!
Here are a few fun facts about Jack!
On January 27, 2020, Jack was honored with a citizen award by the Royal Oak Police Department for assisting with an arrest. Jack also walked 2,841 miles from Newport Beach, CA to TyBee Island, GA in 79 days! On May 18, 2020 Jack will be traveling from the Coast of Lake Michigan to the Coast of Lake Huron.
