Adaptive Yoga classes are designed for individuals with a variety of special needs who are looking for a safe place to experience the multiple benefits of yoga. These benefits would include increased flexibility, greater sense of balance, moderate strengthening, and the ability to be present in themselves in the breath in order to achieve awareness whether in a yoga class or in the world. Yoga postures are made accessible to all students by adapting poses, using props and hands-on support when needed.
